house tour- office/studio.

Home Sweet Home

We moved into our new home this past June and we are finally finished updating and remodeling what we can. Further down the road we hope to update and remodel the kitchen but that’s a pretty penny and definitely a ways away :) I wanted to try and do a house tour sort of thing so first up, is the office/studio area. We repainted the entire house and all of the ceilings…every. single. room. This room was no exception and we also added crown molding. I absolutely love being able to look out the window and see Leland playing in the backyard!! Here are a few photos from the room..

I’ve been collecting antique camera (mostly gifted from family) and I found other items at antique stores :)

…A little bit of an inspiration board.

It always amazes me how just painting a room can make it so much more clean & fresh! I love the color you chose against the white crown molding! And your desk is so beautiful!!

Can you tell me where you found that print of Deut. 6? That’s the third time this week I’ve come across this verse in different contexts. I love that the verses before those say: And thou shalt love The Lord thy God with all thine heart, and will all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children…
