When Jay and I got engaged almost five years ago, we were really young and really broke. He actually proposed with a flower because we were waiting on my ring to be finished. We were able to use the diamond from my great-grandpa’s ring and make it into an engagement ring. Nothing too fancy and it wasn’t my first choice, but hey- it worked! :) Almost five years later, now I finally have a ring that I picked out and love!! (Being a wedding photographer, I have seen and photographed dozens of different rings, so of course I had to take some pictures of my own!) Super thankful and this ring is such a beautiful reminder of our last 5 years together! P.S.  If you get married young, you don’t have to have everything just-so. ;)
