we are getting ready for our 13 (maybe 14? 15?) hour drive to new orleans. with a four month old. (AH!) i am hoping and praying that he will be a happy camper as he usually is. i’m so excited to spend five days with some beautiful people that i love dearly. i’m excited to see what the Lord has in store. we’ve been doing lots of packing, some cleaning, some listening to music….
we still have some to pack but i have my playlists all ready to go, haha. some podcasts, worship, country, and stay-awake-while-driving kinda music. anywho, here is some music on my traveling playlist and some of my favorites:

arielle
p.s. this week a beautiful journey was featured here, here, and here :)
Kings of Leon, “Back Down South”, PERFECT road trip song!! We saw them in Dallas in September for our anniversary, they are so amazing!
Good luck on your trip with the baby! I hope you have so much fun! Takes tons of pictures :)
ummm good music. loving it.
Oh my goodness!! You’re going to be in my backyard! We live north of New Orleans! We’ve taken our youth group on outreaches there often! Praying God does amazing things!!
really? that is great! :) we are really looking forward to seeing what the Lord has in store on this trip. thank you!
I’m lovin’ your choice of music for your road trip, Arielle, and also your photo! Looks much like an album cover in my opinion!! :) I’m praying for you all as you travel, and praying that God will do some amazing things while you’re there! I know He will! Can’t wait to see your photos, and hear all about it! :)
Also enjoying your new daily reads page, too, and congrats on those three features! :)
Blessings to you, my friend!

washed by the water live gave me goosebumps!
love love LOVE this playlist, dear. :) so good! i hope you have such a beautiful and wonderful trip, be safe and have lots of fun! <3
I couldn’t help but notice…NEEDTOBREATHE!!! They are my all time faves…for a non-worship band that is…
I hope your trip goes well!
we jammed out to the black keys during our last road trip. it’s never easy traveling wiht a baby. ours was 15 months when we went on our first trip. He cried until he passed out during the trip. It’s hard not having his nap and stuff. he’s on a pretty militant schedule and when it goes out the window during trips, he’s not happy.
you guys will have a great time no matter what happens.
ps, i’m featuring you on my weekly surf tomorrow!
have a lovely thursday!
Hello!
I found your blog through Rachel Reeves (No. 17 Cherry Tree Lane) and I love it! Your photos are beautiful and your blog design is adorable, as are you and your family! Definitely a brand new follower!
