My husband was kind enough to take some maternity photos for me a few weeks ago when it snowed. I chose to have him take them because 1. I’d have to say he is more handsome than any other photographer I could choose and 2. he does a good job! ;) No but really, I wanted to have a few with the snow and the winter-ness of it all because it reminds me so much of this pregnancy. This has been a winter pregnancy through and through. A different season, a quiet season….a season of waiting, expectancy, and stillness. Not to mention, I’ve been able to enjoy a lot of hot chocolate :) I’m thankful for this blessing and we couldn’t be more excited for the weeks to come.
